We recommend this service for attorneys who want to determine whether a case is worth pursuing with a limited investment. To obtain a Preliminary Review we require: 1. A brief overview of the case. 2. A copy of all medical records in chronological order.* 3. A fee of $600 per case.** You will receive: A report on Saponaro, Inc. letterhead that will address the strengths and/or weaknesses of the case and, if favorable, a recommendation of the type of expert you will need to pursue the case. 	Comprehensive Case Evaluations A Practicing Board-Certified physician, in the specialty of concern, or appropriate healthcare professional, will review the records. This is not a preliminary review by an in-house doctor. We recommend this service for attorneys who know the direction of their case and desire an in-depth review of their case without the commitment or cost of retaining an expert. To obtain a case evaluation we require: 1. A brief overview of the case. 2. A copy of all medical records in chronological order.* 3. A fee of $800 per case evaluation.** You will receive: A report on Saponaro, Inc., letterhead explaining the merit of your case. If the case is favorable, an expert witness referral will be arranged. The expert that reviews your file is willing to support the opinion through deposition, video deposition, and/or trial. 	Expert Witness Referrals Upon receipt of the overview, your case will be screened with practicing board-certified physicians or appropriate experts in the specialty of concern, and we will recommend the expert best suited to assist you. We recommend this service for attorneys who prefer to work directly with the expert. To obtain an expert witness we require: 1. A brief overview of the case. 2. A fee of $400 per expert witness referral. You will receive: A Curriculum Vitae will be provided, along with the expert's fees for review and consultation. You can then send the records to the expert for an objective review. If, for any reason, at any time, you are not satisfied with the referral, a replacement will be provided at no additional cost. back to top
	Direct Witness Referrals Upon receipt of the overview, we will determine the appropriate board-certified physician or expert who would be the best to assist you with your case. We do not contact the expert directly but allow you to screen the expert and discuss the case directly. We recommend this service for attorneys who want the convenience of our help in locating an expert but prefer not to have a relationship established between our firm and the expert. To obtain a direct witness we require: 1. A brief overview of the case. 2. A fee of $400 per direct witness referral. You will receive: A Curriculum Vitae will be provided, along with the expert's contact information. 	RN Synopsis and Review Upon receipt of all medical records, a nurse will organize the records in chronological order and provide the following services: 1. Outline potential deviations and potential defendants 2. Conduct literature research as needed 3. Educate the attorney on medical issues and terminology 4. Recommend the type of experts to ensure the client presents their best case   To obtain a RN Synopsis and Review we require: 1. All medical records regarding the care in question. Saponaro, Inc. has extensive experience analyzing and developing medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury and nursing home cases. Let us help you pinpoint the issues that you need to concentrate on to maximize recovery with reasonable out of pocket expenses and highly-qualified nursing personnel. A $500 ($100 per hour) retainer will be required to begin review.
